Zukunft Kinder (Future children) – commitment with heart and soul

It all started with three Christmas cards painted by children from the Löhehaus day nursery in 1998. The little artists’ designs were printed and sold.
The children were then allowed to make a wish from the profits – which amounted to more than 6,000 marks in the first year.
ZuKi only supports activities in areas where the children cannot be supported by other social institutions, associations or sponsors.
The initiative aims to arouse curiosity about education, promote learning, creative work and music-making, as well as sport and play.
The absolute highlight is the excursion to Thurn Castle with 550 children from 10 daycare centers on the first day of the Bavarian school vacations.
