Harvey Harbach, research group leader at the Institute for Sustainable Water Systems at Hof University of Applied Sciences, is passionate about aquaponics. Hof University of Applied Sciences is a Green Tech University and conducts research into water and energy and how we can use resources more intelligently.

He can’t explain his passion for fish himself. At some point in his childhood, he was bitten by the bug and the waters with their crabs, snails and fish became a second home for him and his landing net. Since then, he has been researching – now highly professionally – what can be found under the surface of the water.
