The Schieners – returnees with a sense of family

“For us, it’s a opportunity where our children can simply move around freely and we have a really good feeling about it.”

Melanie // Head of the Schieners family

Nine years ago, the Schiener family returned to their original home with their two children and their dog Lotte. Back to the family – because of the family – for the children.
Life in the Fichtelgebirge means being able to live out all the possibilities.
In nature and in sport. It’s the freedom to spend more time with your own children and take them to school or nursery yourself, despite working a lot.
And if necessary, you can be home in just 10 minutes!
But for the father Christian in particular, it was a big step to move from Frankfurt back to the Fichtelgebirge, to Marktredwitz.
He thought long and hard about the decision and took his time.
It was worth it, because to this day he has never regretted the move.
His wife Melanie particularly appreciates the space for children in the Fichtelgebirge.
The little ones are safe, can move around freely and walk to school themselves.
It’s a huge relief for parents, as you simply have to worry a lot less and can live a more relaxed life.
