
Resilient region – research project
RECOGNIZE – ADAPT – CHANGE – IMPLEMENT
Being better prepared for what could happen in the future in the event of a crisis in order to optimally manage possible effects. This is what the term “resilience” stands for, and we are trying to address it together with 10 other regions across Germany.
11 model projects that are researching, developing and implementing approaches for more resilience within 3 years in order to cope with possible unforeseeable crises and thus be more resilient to shock events such as during the coronavirus pandemic.
The focus will be on areas such as critical infrastructure, value chains, preparedness for extreme situations, new economic relationships, regional development with possible cross-border content and regional specifics.
