For citizens
The climate concerns us all
That’s why we want to support you in your forward-looking ventures. Do you want to enter the world of e-mobility? Do you care about the conditions under which your purchases are made? Numerous advisory programs are available to help you put your green plans into practice.
Free & neutral energy advice

The district is part of a Bavaria-wide cooperation with the Bavarian Consumer Advice Center. All advice services are free of charge for citizens of the district! Anyone who wants to renovate their home, replace their heating system, rely on alternative energy sources such as solar thermal or photovoltaics or build a new house can take advantage of advice.
The hotline of the consumer advice center can be reached at 0800 – 809 802 400. Here, private households can simply call for advice or make an appointment for an on-site consultation. All channels of the Bavarian Consumer Advice Center are also available.
A flat rate of €30 is charged for an on-site consultation, but the district of Wunsiedel i. Fichtelgebirge will pay this for you.
eMobility
Is it time for a new car again?
The switch to electromobility plays an important role in the transport transition. The number of newly registered electric vehicles is increasing from year to year. However, there is still uncertainty about charging options, range and climate friendliness of electric cars. The district’s climate protection management team will be happy to advise you on this.

Fair Trade district
Regional, ecological, sustainable
Fair trade has long been more than just the idea of paying Colombian coffee farmers a fair wage. Today, the idea of fair trade goes much further. Of course, fair trade products from all over the world play a major role, but for some time now, sustainable, ecologically produced and regional products have also been the focus of the fair trade concept.
The district has always thought sustainably and ecologically. That is why we decided to have the district certified as a Fairtrade Town – or Fair Trade District. The application was successful and we officially received the seal.
