The fichtelfifty is an offer from the district of Wunsiedel i. Fichtelgebirge especially for teenagers and young adults.
On Friday and Saturday evenings (and on nights before public holidays) you can travel around the district at half price with our participating cab and hire car companies!
The fichtelfifty can be used by anyone between the ages of 16-26 who lives in the district of Wunsiedel i. Fichtelgebirge.

You simply book the trip with one of our partner companies, pay half of the regular fare at the end and confirm the trip with your signature!

FAQs about fichtelfifty
The offer is valid on the nights from Friday to Saturday and from Saturday to Sunday between 9 pm and 5 am and at the same times on the nights before public holidays.
In the entire district of Wunsiedel i. Fichtelgebirge. So that a journey costs you only half the price, the start and destination must both be in the district of Wunsiedel i. Fichtelgebirge.
You will be driven in the cabs and rental cars of the participating project partners. A maximum of four passengers can be transported on one trip. If a trip with more passengers is registered, no subsidy can be provided by the district of Wunsiedel i. Fichtelgebirge.
To order a ride, simply call one of the rental car or cab companies involved in the project. They will then send an available car to you. The deadline for the last possible order is 4:00 am.
At the end of the journey, you must confirm the journey on the payment lists provided in the carriage. After that you only have to pay half of the fare. The other half is paid by the district of Wunsiedel i. Fichtelgebirge!
For legal reasons, the person who orders the ride must also pay for it (regardless of the order in which they get off).
The maximum amount of funding provided by the district of Wunsiedel i. Fichtelgebirge is € 37. This means that a trip under the conditions of the fichtelfifty may cost a maximum of € 74 – anything above this amount will no longer be subsidized.
Furthermore, only one person per trip can be subsidized. Multiple subsidies per trip are excluded.
Persons who pose a risk to the safety and order of the operation or other passengers may be excluded from transportation. This applies in particular to persons who are under the unreasonable influence of intoxicating drinks or other substances and therefore pose a risk to the proper conduct of the journey.
Also affected by this regulation are persons with infectious diseases and persons carrying firearms (unless they are authorized to carry them).
The driver is entitled to enforce the exclusion of these persons from transportation with police assistance if necessary. The costs of soiling or damage to vehicles – if caused by the passenger – may be charged to the passenger by the transport company.
