Standardized, simple & attractive

The EgroNet ticket has three major advantages: It is valid uniformly on all means of transport, it is attractive for families and it is easy to use.
The day ticket for one person costs 30 euros or 200 crowns, each additional person in a group of up to 5 people pays 8 euros or 100 crowns more.
Regardless of whether you are criss-crossing the city for a day, traveling a route there and back, or even interrupting your journey and walking or cycling part of the way and continuing later – only one ticket is required. With over 7,000 stops in the 15,000 square kilometer area, almost every travel option is possible for very different destinations. No matter where you start from within the EgroNet region.

The EgroNet ticket is valid from the time it is validated until 3.00 a.m. on the following day and entitles the holder to any number of journeys on the EgroNet region network by train, bus and streetcar. It can be used as often as you like on the day of validity.

The surname and first name of all paying passengers must be entered on the ticket.
A surcharge of 2 euros must be paid when purchasing tickets in staff-operated ticket sales, also when purchasing tickets on DB AG and Erfurter Bahn GmbH trains.

Mobile ticket

With HandyTicket Deutschland you can book your ticket directly via smartphone – without cash or ticket machines. After a one-off registration, you will receive a PIN with which you can buy and securely manage tickets. The travel costs are debited automatically.

Bicycle included – traveling with the EgroNet ticket

With the EgroNet ticket, you can take one bicycle per person (including accompanying children) free of charge. This applies both on trains and on buses with bicycle trailers, which are available in some regions. This means you can start your cycle tour further away from home and combine train and bus journeys.

Please find out in advance whether there is sufficient capacity for taking bicycles on your desired means of transport. Please note that the purchase of an EgroNet ticket does not guarantee that you will be able to take a bicycle with you.
