What is the EgroNet ticket?

The EgroNet ticket is a cross-border ticket that is valid in four regions: Bavaria, Saxony, Thuringia and the Czech Republic. With this ticket, you can use buses, trains and streetcars in the entire region.

Where can I buy the EgroNet ticket?

In Germany, you can obtain the EgroNet ticket:

  • At ticket machines at stations along the EgroNet railroad lines
  • At ticket machines in the Erfurter Bahn and Erzgebirgsbahn vehicles
  • Directly from the train attendant at the alex-treff, on the Oberpfalzbahn and on the vogtlandbahn
  • On selected buses on bus routes in the EgroNet area
  • At ticket agencies and points of sale

In the Czech Republic you can get the EgroNet ticket:

  • on ČD (České dráhy) trains from the train attendant (possibly with an on-board surcharge; if no ticket office is open or available at the boarding station, there is no on-board surcharge)
  • at the points of sale
  • on selected buses of the EgroNet bus lines

Buy an EgroNet ticket as a HandyTicket

With the HandyTicket Deutschland you can use buses, trains and streetcars spontaneously – wherever you are. Your ticket is transferred directly to your cell phone so that it cannot get lost. Cash or a ticket machine are no longer necessary. The ticket is booked in just a few seconds and appears immediately on your display. The travel costs are either debited directly or automatically at the end of the month.

To buy a ticket by cell phone, you need to register once with HandyTicket Deutschland. After entering your details, you will receive a personal PIN. This numerical code serves as an access key to the customer portal and to confirm each electronic ticket purchase.

How much does the EgroNet ticket cost?

The price varies depending on the number of travelers:

Groups (up to 5 people): 62 euros
The exact prices may vary depending on the provider.
